Sales & Marketing Div.
Our Growth Drivers: Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, and Japanese Languages
Our Chinese office consists of localization professionals with more than 10 years of experience as project managers and linguists. Instead of solely focusing on aggressive pricing, we’ve focused on building expertise in specific domains, such as marketing, technical, medical, and legal fields, and providing reliable quality and stable productive capacity.
Since it was established in 2015, our Vietnamese office has created a reliable production center for Southeast Asian languages, with Vietnamese being our top-tier language. Our abilities were well demonstrated when we became an official partner for Alibaba’s Vietnamese language projects, as Alibaba is known to be extremely demanding in terms of their quality standards. We have managed to keep our error rate under 0.03%, keeping them satisfied with our performance.
Some of our strongest Korean language areas are marketing translation and transcreation. By working on marketing content for the largest social media platform in the world, Facebook, and the largest game engine provider, Unity, our team has proven its ability to provide top-tier linguistic quality and domain-specific knowledge. Our team stays up to date on the latest marketing terms and concepts. Our linguists also attend a variety of events and conferences to maximize their understanding of our customers’ marketing strategies and products.
Our professional team of Japanese linguists and project managers have been branching out from the technical side of things to marketing and expanding our production capacity. Recently, we completed a Japanese project with volume of 4 million words in just three months.
Hansem Listed No. 1 LSP in Korea – Again
Also, we are ranked as no. 1 LSP in Korea again! Of the top 100 global players in the Nimdzi 100, Hansem is the only Korean LSP on the list. The list, which is considered an industry standard, uses revenue data to find out who the biggest LSPs in the world are; and this year, we ranked 94th.
We hope to grow more with our professional project management team and knowledgeable translation resources. We are actively participating in joint activities with universities to promote translation and TC industry development in order to recruit educated, skillful translation resources. This continuous effort and dedication is surely what helped us grow and become the reliable LSP we are today.
Apart from compiling a list of the most influential LSPs this year, the report also addressed emerging challenges and key trends for 2020. At Hansem, our localization experts are dedicated to helping you navigate the current landscape of the market and growing your business.
Asian Entertainment Market on the Rise
It comes as little surprise that the Asian entertainment market is exploding on the scene, especially when it comes to cinema and gaming. With “Parasite” taking home the Oscar for “Best Picture” and e-sports in Asia receiving more attention, it’s hard not to notice the rise of Asian entertainment on the global stage.
Investment in the Asian film industry is an economic necessity, now that China’s film market size is about to outsize its American counterpart. This shows how linguistic, social, and cultural barriers are slowly being broken down as people are embracing different cultures. This is just one example of the rising need for Asian language localization. We have built strong game and media translation teams for Asian languages.
