Concurrent Publishing: Publishing from a single source to both PDF and web manuals simultaneously.
Accuracy of Multilingual UI Terminology: Ensuring that UI terminology reflects the specific linguistic needs of each market. A significant challenge arose because the UI terminology was initially provided in an unrefined Excel list format while manual development was ongoing alongside product development. Refining this list and creating a system-compatible multilingual UI terminology database for seamless integration was crucial.

Hansem Global’s unique conversion solution rapidly transforms InDesign files into HTML files ready for web publishing. These web manuals are designed with interactive, user-friendly interfaces and optimized for various devices including mobiles, tablets, and PCs, with enhanced search functions to improve usability.
Weaver System for Automatic Multilingual UI Terminology Matching
After manual refining the UI Term list provided by the client, connecting it to a program developed by Hansem Global called “Weaver” quickly and accurately matches the UI terms appearing on each page of the manual for each language. It supports automatic matching of UI terms even when their page locations change post-translation, detects and adjusts to terminological changes, and provides several options for terms with multiple meanings. Additionally, it features an automatic navigation tool to facilitate easy access to relevant manual pages.
