One of Hansem Global’s clients is a global manufacturer. Their consumer electronic products are garnering an excellent reputation and public interest around the world. As our client was releasing a new electronic product, they wanted to emphasize the “high-resolution camera” and “Nightography” feature. They requested that we make experiential consumer education material as part of their marketing activities.

Challenges

Our client wanted to highlight the features and benefits of their new product’s camera directly, but there was a risk that potential customers might find this approach off-putting. The challenge was to design an effective way for customers to experience the product’s features naturally while also meeting the promotional goals of our client.

First, we identified that the main target customers, primarily Gen Z, prefer short-form content. Therefore, we created consumer experience educational materials in a short-form format to engage this audience effectively.

To showcase the client’s desired features, the “high-resolution camera” and “Nightography,” we developed a “traveling” theme. This theme was particularly relevant as global travel demand surged post-COVID-19, providing an excellent context to highlight the camera’s capabilities.
